To every mom that has faked having to go to the bathroom just to have a quiet moment alone, you’re not alone. To every mom that gone to the bathroom because you’ve been holding it for hours and finally get a quiet moment to go, you’re not alone. To every mom that could fall asleep on the bathroom floor but realizes bedtime is not for another 4+ hours, you’re not alone.
Sometimes it feels like we’re alone, but we’re not. We’re doing this thing called “motherhood” together and I’m here to remind you on those days, you’re not alone. What you’re doing is exhausting, draining, tiring... the list goes on. However, even more important, what you’re doing MATTERS, it’s making a DIFFERENCE, and it’s changing this world ONE KID at a time. Keep doing your thing, bedtime will eventually come, and the sweet Lord will smile down on you for your Kingdom work.
Now go and wipe some noses, clean some bottoms, give timeouts, deal with a fit, enjoy some tear, soak up some snuggle snuggles, and remember you are loved through it all.
